Psalm 12

1. I look around Lord and there is wickedness everywhere. The wicked walk around like there is no God. The more people I meet the more I know that do not follow you. Help me to be all the more resolved in my faith. May I run from temptation. May I be a light in this dark and wicked generation.

2. The wicked continually lie and flatter, just to get their way. Their heart is not faithful to anyone but themselves. They will say and do whatever it takes to get their way.

3. Lord, keep my lips and tongue from doing the very same thing. Help me to remember to be righteous with my speech and with my actions. For you cannot stand lying and flattery and boasting. May I bless only with the mouth you have given me, for You will cut off and destroy all those who curse with their mouths.

4. The boasting of the wicked is so evident. Keep us humble. In their hearts they act as if there is no God. They think they own their lips and mouth and they will have no one to answer for anything that comes out of it. Lord, may we remember that we are held accountable for what we say. May we encourage and bless others with our mouths.

5. There will be a time Lord when you will tolerate the wicked no longer. At that time You will come for your children and you will hear their cries. Thank you Lord for always keeping us safe and looking out for us. You will arise in Your mighty power and crush the wicked and save the righteous.

6. For You are a God that always does what He says. Your words are pure and holy and perfect. There is nothing on earth more pure than Your words. May we strongly desire to study, know and obey your words to us. Thank you for the perfect truth You have given us in Your word. May we look for it as buried treasure.

7. Your words are not temporary, they are forever. Because of Your might power You are able to sustain and keep all things from corruption that You desire. Thank You for giving us Your incorruptible Word and for sustaining it for us that it might give us new life. You have not only preserved it in the past and present, but Your word will remain forever as will You and Your people.

8. The wicked, however, will meet their end. Their perverse and wicked words will one day be silenced as they recognize the perfect purity of Your words were in authority all along. May we remember to cherish Your word and to guard our lips from speaking anything that would offend You.

Psalm 11

1. In You alone, Lord, may I take refuge. You alone are my strength. Forgive me when I turn anywhere else for my joy or satisfaction. When I am in trouble may you be the first thought in my mind. When I fear and desire to flee it is only because I am relying on my own strength. May I always remember your promise to me that You will never give me anything beyond what I can handle. May You be the first and last place I turn to.

2. It is true that the wicked desire to destroy me. Satan desires to get me to doubt and fear and run. He wants me to believe that You cannot help me, and I surely cannot do it on my own. Everything wicked in me wants to listen and obey. Help me to remember that You are my refuge and it is in You alone that I should lean.

3. When my faith is weak and I rely only on my own strength, there is truly nothing I can do. Life would be hopeless and meaningless apart from You. When the world is crashing around and I forget about You, there is nothing I can do.

4. However, in Your wonderful power and love for us, You sit on high in Your rightful place and watch over us. You look over all who are Yours and You care for them personally. What should I fear? What can overpower You?

5. Lord, You look down on the righteous and the unrighteous, You know who has bowed their knee before You and confessed You as Lord. You know the one who truly loves You and You watch over them.

6. You also know the wicked and You will reign down Your wrath and judgment upon them. Those who do not know You will face eternity in hell away from You. Thank You for Your mercy on us.

7. Thank You Lord for Your perfect Righteousness. You are the perfect standard that we long to be like. Because of Your perfect righteousness we will one day get to spend eternity with You and behold Your sinless and glorious face. Thank You Lord for being our refuge, may we remember You in all things.

Psalm 10

1. Lord, at times it feels as though you are not there. At times it feels like You are far away. I have recognized that it is not You keeping far from me, but I have wondered from You and Your promises. When You seem not to be present, it is because I have let sin in my heart, or I have forgotten of Your promises. In times of trouble it seems as though You have forgotten me. Yet, You have promised to never leave me, nor forsake me. I must remember You. I must confess my sin to You and know that are relationship is not based on my emotions, but on Your Word to me.

2. The reason it feels like You are not watching or do not care is because I see the wicked prospering here on earth. In their pride they only pursue their own pleasures, they devour the helpless in their plans. Lord, why do You not kill them instantly? Why do You let them get away with this?

3. All the wicked man cares about is his own pursuits, his own pleasures. He boasts about his sinful conquests and he mocks the Lord in all that he does. He has no concept of God's Law.

4. The wicked man pursues his own desires and does not even think about the God who created him. In fact, in his mind he has justified that there is no God. He has to think this way for deep in his heart he knows he is living in sin. But he does not care, for in his mind if there is no God, there is no judgment for what he has done.

5. He continues in his wickedness because in his eyes in this temporary world he is prospering. Many times the humble and weak who seek You, ask Lord, why do you allow this wicked man to prosper? He has no concept of submission and destroys all who are in his path. He laughs at mocks at those who would oppose him.

6. As he continues to gain in his wealth and his wickedness, he feels invincible. He thinks to himself that he is his own God and he makes his own rules. No one shall get in his way, and he thinks that he is the one who decides his future. How can You let such a man prosper?

7. The wicked man curses you with every breath. He lies, cheats, and steals to get his way because he thinks there is no one to answer to. He is deceitful to promote his own way, to get what he wants.

8-10. He not only runs over the helpless, but purposefully seeks them out as he looks at them as opposition. He seeks out to ruin those who do not have what he has. He is purely evil in his thoughts and actions.

11. While doing all of this, his thoughts do not run to You, his thoughts think only of himself and how mighty he is. He laughs and mocks because he thinks he is more powerful than You. He has done what he pleases and there have been no repercussions to his actions. He thinks he has gotten away with it. Why do you allow this Lord?

12-15. I must remember that wicked man was once me. If I had remained in my own sinfulness, these verses would be describing me. If it had not been for your mercy and grace on my soul I would be pursuing my own desires as well. May I also not forget that you will one day arise O Lord and judge the wicked. They will have no grace and no mercy to lean on in that day of judgment. They are not getting away with anything. They will have you to face. May we remember You are always there, even in our temporary affliction. This is but for a time, but one day we will be with You forever. You have not forgotten those who have bowed the knee to You. You have seen every deed of every man, and they will never escape Your judgment.

16. You are King and will reign on high forever. You are eternal and the wicked will perish. You will have the last say, the last laugh.

17. Lord, You have heard every word I have ever prayed to you and You know the needs of the afflicted. You have always promised to care for us, and You have never failed on that. When we are weak You give us Your own strength and listen to all we need. You will provide, we just have to have faith that You are there and that You hear us. As said before, You know our thoughts, and You are always there. When You feel distant, it is because of us, not You.

18. You will come back in Your mercy and grace and salvation for those who have humbled themselves and accepted Your Son. You will come back with vengeance and wrath against the wicked and they will be destroyed.

Psalm 9

1. With all my heart, mind and soul may every part of me be so thankful for all that you have done. May I dwell on your love, grace, mercy, righteousness, and the sacrifice of your Son and forever be grateful for all You have done for me. May I tell others all about Your wonderful power and works, and may they delight in You because of Your glorious grace.

2. May I truly be joyful because I dwell on all that You are. Being saved by grace and being unconditionally loved by the God of this universe should bring me to tears of joy. Forgive me for the times that I do not delight in You, but rather, focus on the things I do not have. May my remembrance of all that You have done for me lead to spontaneous praise to my King.

3. Those who would try to attack one of Your children will be destroyed. You protect me and watch over me in everything that I do.

4. Jesus, You sit on the right throne of God, You make intercession for me all the time. When I am in sin The Father need only to look over to You and Your satisfactory death for me on the cross and He accepts me. You look out for me and make sure that I am on the right path. Thank You for your guidance and protection in my life.

5-6. There will come a day Lord when you will reign in Your proper place. You will judge over all the world and you will destroy Satan and his followers. Those who reject You will be turned over to the pit of hell and there will be no more forgiveness, no more chance for redemption. They will see their end and recognize they rejected the true Son of God and their only hope in this world. They will look at their future and understand that they will be apart from the only goodness they truly wanted. Lord, may they recognize that now and may You use me however You can to get others see this.

7-8. You are eternal. You have no beginning and no end, it hurts my mind to think of such thoughts. You have always been on the throne in heaven and will one day judge everyone. In your right judgment You would have banished me to hell, for that is what I deserved, however, through the sacrifice of Your Son, You have given me eternal life. You will judge rightly and whatever You judge will last forever. You know the hearts of men and will hold each one of them accountable for their deeds.

9. When the world is crashing around me, when all that I see looks bleak, it is in Your righteous providence that You keep me from despair and give me hope. You are the rock I can lean on despite the circumstances. Lord, help me to put my hope in the Rock of Your Word, rather than on the outside influences on me.

10. Lord, help me to trust in You with all my heart and my mind. Why should I hope in anything or anyone else? You are unchanging and always have our best interests in mind, may I put all my hope in You and in nothing else.

11. For all that You are, for every attribute that perfectly describes You may I sing of those praises. May I tell everyone of Your perfect deeds and wonderful grace so that they may partake in this praise as well.

12. In my hopeless estate, in my utter depravity You came up with a perfect plan, involving the death and sacrifice of Your Son so that I may be cared for O gracious God. You always hear my cry and will answer it in perfect justice.

13. I beg for Your grace everyday as I need it to make it through. Lord may watch over my soul and keep me from harm. May You protect me from those who wish me harm whether it be spiritually or physically. Be my stronghold.

14. Again, as I remember all You have done for me, may I tell everyone of Your goodness. May the praises of my mouth and the joy of my heart be evident for all to see and hear. May You be proclaimed by me.

15-17. The world has no excuse against God. They cannot blame anyone but themselves for their wickedness. Lord, You will be justified when You condemn those who do not know You. You will make yourself known to them in person, however, You have given them so many evidences of You throughout creation and in their hearts. He will be justified in all His judgments. They will be sent to a horrible place apart from You and exposed to continuous punishment, and it will be deserved. Thank You for saving me.

18. At times it may seem like those who are unrighteous and neglect You are more victorious. It may seem that in this world they are getting the upper hand. However, in Your righteous and gracious provision You will take care of those who look to You for their hope. You will protect those who may have not had here on earth, but will be rich in eternal blessing.

19-20. May that time come quickly Lord. May You arise from heaven and come to claim Your people and judge those who mocked You that they may see that they You are God. Strike fear into their hearts and claim Your children, put them in their place and help them to recognize that since they leaned on their own power through all their lives, You will not be there for them when they truly need You. Praise You God in Heaven.

Psalm 8

1. You are MY Lord and MY God. You are personal and care for us. May we allow you to truly be the LORD of our lives. May we submit to Your Lordship, and live in humble obedience. You are so majestic and high up. You are so above us in every way and we are but nothing compare to You. You have displayed Your power to us in the heavens. The whole earth and all that is in it display Your infinite power above ours. We look so small and insignificant compared to You.

2. The miracle of birth and life tells of Your glory. Who are we to question You God? Each new birth and new life miracle reminds us of Your power. May we never take that for granted and see Your power manifested in all that You have made.

3. Lord, may I think intently upon all that you have created, every star in the sky, every planet in this universe was created simply by Your word. May these thoughts remain in my mind, may I dwell on them constantly. When I may begin to think highly of myself, may I be humbled by the infinite power of Your hand.

4. When I recognize all that You have made, may I humbly bow before You and give You the praise You deserve. May I treasure the fact that despite You being so far above me and so superior to me, You would take the time to think about me and care about me. Why would you even think of me? More than that, why would you desire to reconcile a relationship that is so one-sided? In my sin I have trampled upon You, I have mocked You, I have hated You, yet You sent Your Son to die for me so that we could have a relationship again. You are truly an amazing God!!

5-8. Despite my utter lowliness and sinfulness You have made us in Your image and have put us in charge of all Your creation. You have crowned us with Your glory and You give us so much that we don't deserve. You have put us over all the animals, trees, mountains, all Your resources You have put into our hands. May we use the power You have given us to give the glory back to You, Oh Majestic Lord.

9. O Lord, You are a Lord who cares for Me personally. The very thought of that causes me to proclaim Your name above all others. How majestic are you Lord!!!

Psalm 7

1. May I take refuge in You always. When life gets hard, when temptation comes, may I find refuge and strength in You and You alone. Forgive me when I look to other people or things to be my refuge, and plant in my mind Your eternal protection of Me. What else can save me and protect me like You do. You have promised to deliver me from evil and save me from my sin. May I remind my heart of that every day.

2. For if you did not protect me and keep me safe, if You were not my refuge, I would be torn apart by this world. Apart from You I do not have the strength and the ability to fight off sin as it would look to destroy my soul. I would be helpless apart from You. May I always find my refuge in You.

3-5. Lord if there is any sin in me, if there is any wrong I have done to another, I pray that You would show me. I pray You would chasten me to bring me back into right fellowship with You. Help to keep me from being unjust to others for You are a God of justice. Help to keep me from lying and deceitfulness to others for You are a God of righteousness and integrity. Thank You for not turning me over to the world and abandoning my soul when I do sin. Praise You for that.

6. Lord, Your patience only lasts for so long, there will come a time when you will rise up and unleash Your righteous anger on the evil. At this time you will also claim Your children and protect them. I pray that those who do not know You would come to You as Lord and Savior quickly before Your anger is roused against them.

7. You are the king of this world and will reign in it forever. We thank You for keeping Your wrath from us, and long for the day when your judgment is poured out on the land and we who trust in You will be spared and You will be placed on the throne where You belong.

8. Lord in Your judgment find me righteous and holy because of Your Son. Left to myself there would be no holiness, no righteousness, but because of the work of Your Son on the cross and His place in my heart, I will be vindicated when You return in judgment. It is my new heart that is within me that You gave to me that makes me righteous.

9. Lord, may we constantly pray and long for the day when you will return. May we rejoice in that day as You will establish the righteous as You have set them aside and saved them. Help us to show the wicked that in that day You will destroy them in Your righteous judgment and you will be completely justified for You know each one's heart and mind.

10. When you do return to judge the hearts and minds of men, You will find me righteous for You are my shield, You protect me from the evil one, and You save us through Your perfect Son. Those whose hearts have been changed will be saved on the day of judgment.

11. Lord I praise You for Your righteousness. May I never hold myself to the standard of any other righteousness. When I look at Your perfect righteousness may it cause me to see how far short I fall, and how it is only in the perfect righteousness of Your Son that I could enter Your presence. You hate sin and cannot be around it. I pray that You would cultivate in me the same hatred for sin that You have.

12-16. Those who do not repent, Lord, will feel Your wrath. You will be perfectly justified when You utterly destroy the wicked. Your preparing Your wrath for them and each day gets closer and closer to when You will unleash it. May it cause us to fear You more and be more urgent in our evangelism. Man is wicked to the core. We dig a pit that we cannot get ourselves out of. Sin infects every thought, action, and word that comes from us apart from You. Everything we do in our sinful bodies will come back to us a thousand fold unless we repent and long for Your righteousness to cover our sins.

17. For this very righteousness, protection, and salvation that we receive from You, I rejoice and give thanks. It is because of Your righteousness that I am saved and for that may my heart, mind, and mouth be filled with Your praises, and may You be pleased by everything that comes from it.

Psalm 6

1. Lord, remember Your mercy when You look upon my sin. You have every right to rebuke me and to punish me. I frequently violate Your law, and deserve death because I have sinned against You. However, I claim the blood of Christ and ask for Your wonderful mercy to quench Your righteous wrath. Thank You Lord for your mercy and grace to me.

2. I feel the weight of the world's hostility and the whole of my sins. This world can be so hard and I so often give into temptation. Be gracious to me God. Look down on your servant and be merciful as only You can. Give me restoration, cleanse me from my sins, and give me the joy of salvation. May I seek only You to cure this sinful inclination I have. Only in You can I find the proper protection and forgiveness from sin.

3. Not only physically do I feel the pain of my sinfulness, but my soul feels fractured. My soul is sad for sinning against the One who created it. How long must we suffer in these temporary bodies. May You place in my heart a true longing for Your return. May I long to spend eternity with You in Heaven, and keep that in my sites while I live here on this earth.

4. Come back to rescue Your children Heavenly Father. Our souls need rescuing. My soul longs to be reunited with its Maker. I long to be redeemed by Your blood and live with You in glory where no sin will remain. It is only because of Your lovingkindness that this is possible. Only on the works of Christ can I claim salvation, for there is nothing within me worthy of saving. May we think often of You and long for Your return.

5. May we long for the time when there will be no death and constant rejoicing. What an amazing place to think about. For when we are with You, there will be no more dying, no more sin, no more tears to cry. For those who do not know You, they will spend eternity in a torturous hell where there is no joy and no giving thanks, just ultimate suffering. May our minds remember Your mercy and grace when we think about such a place.

6. This world is so wearisome, I can't wait for your return. My body is tired, may it be tired from serving you, not from sinning. Listen to my prayers when I am suffering, comfort me in my anguish, and cause me to quickly repent of my sins when they are present.

7. Because of those who hate You, I will be hated. Because of this life will become more difficult and I will need to lean on Your strength. Give me the strength I need to be bold, and stand up for Your name, and yet not sin. May my adversaries have no victory over me, but in my faithfulness to You, bring them to their knees in repentance, that one more may claim the name of Christ.

8. Lord keep me safe from those who commit sins. May those who live a life of sinfulness be rendered ineffective and unattractive. Those who would mock You and trample on the work of Christ, keep my mind safe from such things. Lord, I know You listen and will grant my request for You desire to keep me pure and safe from the things that can defile me. You recognize a contrite heart, a sincere heart that does not want to be polluted by sin. You will be faithful to grant this to me.

9. Lord You are so faithful to hear me when I pray. May I take full advantage of this opportunity I have to speak with the Lord of Lords, the King of this World. You not only hear them, but You receive them, and You answer them in my best interest. You give Me what I need, not what I want, and You remind me of my need for You everyday.

10. All those who have mocked You and rebelled against You will be ashamed. When they recognize the truth of Your Word when You reveal Yourself to them they will not be able to say a thing and have to accept their banishment to hell. Their souls will recognize what their conscience has put aside and hid for all these years. They will not have the righteousness of Christ to claim. They will merely have their own righteousness to claim, which is nothing but filthy rags before You. Thank You Lord for keeping us from such an ending.

Psalm 5

1. Listen to my prayer to you Lord. Oh great God that you are, and insignificant sinful man that I am what an amazing thought to think that you would listen to me. May you recognize my hearts groanings for you that I may not be able to express to you in words.

2. Lord I recognize my need for your divine help. May you always be the king in my life, the one who reigns on high and directs my every thought and decision. May I truly recognize the gift of prayer to the most High God that will listen to my requests.

3. May You be the first thought on my mind when I wake up. May my day be surrounded with thoughts of you. May You hear my prayer and may I eagerly watch to see what your Divine Hand will do. May I not pray out of doubt, but of mighty faith that You will accomplish all you desire to do in me and through me.

4. Lord, keep me from sin. May my prayers constantly be of repentance and protection from temptation, for You hate sin and cannot be in the presence of it. How hard I find it to pray to You sometimes when I have let sin come into my heart. You cannot have anything to do with evil and take no pleasure in it. May my heart desire the same hatred for sin, may I crave righteousness and hate sin with the passion that You do.

5. Lord I pray You would give me humility. It is well understood that you hate pride and arrogance. The boastful man relies only on his own strength, and makes himself God. Only a humble man can recognize his sinfulness and bow his knee to You. You hate the boastful and everything they are about. Give me humility, help me to constantly rely on Your power and Your strength, and remember my inability to do anything good on my own.

6. One day you will destroy all those who have not recognized You as Lord. Those who speak lies, deceive and harm others You want nothing to do with. Help me to remember that apart from You that would be me.

7. But thankfully it is not me, because of your great lovingkindness. Because of the work of Your Son on the cross and my faith in His atoning work, I am able to confidently come before You and enter into Your House with thanksgiving and praise. Thank You for loving me enough to send Your Son to die on the cross for my sins. May I revere and praise You for all You have done.

8. Constantly remind me of my need for Your strength. Remind me that I cannot do it on my own. May I humbly submit to your righteous lead. May I not take after the sinful world that takes their own lead and relies on their own strength. O Lord, how you know it is in my sinfulness to want to do things in my own power. Help me be humbly led by You into righteousness. Make Your will for me clear, and give me the strength to follow Your path.

9. Help me to remember what I was apart from you. The sinful world that does not recognize You is one that is unreliable, constantly lying, and desiring to harm others. Keep my tongue from lying and flattery. All of these things lead only to destruction.

10. Lord give us a desire to help those who are in sin that need you, for one day You will hold them guilty for all their iniquities and you will destroy them. May that cause me to fear what I was saved from and help me to show others where they are heading. For you will hold them accountable for all their sins done apart from Christ. They rebel against You and only desire their own way. They will get their way when they spend eternity apart from You in hell. Oh Lord, keep me from this destruction.

11. Thinking about what You have saved me from, may my heart rejoice every day. Fill my heart with the joy of remembrance of all that You have done in my salvation. May we take advantage of the shelter you provide from sin and from harm. May we love You with all of hearts. May our lives overflow with our gratitude for all You have done. May we exult You always and sing of Your praises forever.

12. We can be joyful and praise You forever when we remember that You have blessed us beyond what we can even know. Those of us who are righteous, not because of us, but because of You, have been given so much. Thank You for our families, our homes, our church, our friends, Your Word, and most importantly Your Son. You surround us with Your favor as a father would his son. Praise You Lord for all You have done.

Psalm 4

1. Thank you Lord so much for answering my prayers. You do not allows answer them immediately or in the way I originally desire, but You are always faithful to answer them in the way You see best. May my heart desire what you desire, and may my prayers be pleasing to you. You are my righteousness. Apart from You I am nothing but wretched sinfulness. Left to myself I would follow only after unrighteousness. May I praise you for giving me your righteousness through Christ. You have taken care of me both temporarily and eternally. You are both gracious to me and abundantly give of your lovingkindness.

2. May I remember what I once was. Full of unrighteousness always seeking after my own desires as the world does. The world follows after its own lusts, and loves only that which can never save and have no eternal value. What a waste of time. May I be honorable to you in my living before the unrighteous world. May I not reproach your Name, nor give a false testimony to who you are. May those who seek after foolishness see the error of their ways and give you glory because of my testimony.

3. Those who remain in their ways and rejects Christ remains an enemy of God. How grateful and thankful I am to know that you have set apart those of us who have been saved by the blood of Christ for you eternal blessing. You only decide to listen to those who are Yours. You do not even hear the prayer of the wicked. Their breath is a waste of air. Thank you for the privilege of knowing You and having access to you in prayer. May I always take advantage of this time.

4. May I tremble at the thought of your perfect righteousness. May the thought of Your holiness drive me to my knees and keep me from sinning. On my own I stumble. Frequently, I forget to look to you for my strength and I stumble. Remind me of Your holiness and your desire for righteousness in my life. May I think all day and night of Your truths and Your Word, may it lead to righteous living.

5. Thank you Jesus for being the one time sacrifice for all my sins. May I always trust in its power and not try to earn my way to you. May I always recognize that it is the sacrifice of Christ that is sufficient for the forgiveness of sins, not my behavior. I must always trust that Your blood was sufficient for my sins. I cannot earn my way to You.

6. The world is so often bleak and dark. Lord show your face through Your word and Your church. Light up the world with your holiness that they may see Your goodness and desire to follow You. May our lives be a light to a dark world that needs You.

7. Lord make me content. May I not look upon the wicked and envy their temporary gains and pleasures for you a greater than anything they can achieve. In You and You alone is true joy and contentment. Help me to truly believe that in my heart. Help me to remember the end of the wicked and the fact that nothing they can receive here on earth will satisfy them as much as You can.

8. Because of all of these things I can lie down and rest in peace. I can know that My God and Savior is in control of everything. Nothing happens to me that is outside of Your knowledge. In You I rest and sleep in perfect peace. The peace that surpasses all understanding.

Psalm 3

1. Those who mock you and seek my destruction increase everyday. May my enemies increase because of righteous actions, not my sinful ones. May I be bold to confront those who oppose You. When adversaries and trouble come my way may I cling to you.

2. Those who don't know you may look at me and in their own foolishness think that I would despair, and there is no hope for me. May they be proved wrong. May all my trials and tribulations only prove to me all the more that you are here. May I look at my hardships as a time for you to come and save me. May you deliver me not from my problems, but from my desire to react in a sinful way to trials.

3. Although there are many who would say there is no hope, it is only because they do not know you. For you are a shield and the protector of my life. You are everything that is good in me. When problems arise and trouble comes You are my hope. May I always look to you for my hope and my contentment, may I never look to myself or what the world has to offer for my satisfaction. Like a loving Father you lift my head when I tend to despair.

4. Lord, thank You so much for listening to my prayers. May my heart continually seek you. Whether I am in distress or giving thanks may my heart go straight to prayer. You may not answer me immediately or in the way I want, but Lord you always answer us, and in the way that is ultimately best for us. Thank you for being the all-powerful, sovereign God of this universe, yet, listen to my individual cry to you.

5. You give me peace and rest. You do not allow anything to come my way that I cannot handle, you are gracious indeed. You give me just enough to handle and rejuvenate my soul with peace and rest when I lean on you. May I be strengthened in my weakness because of You. You sustain us and give us the strength we need to get through each day. Thank you for the food, clothes, and health that you give us, may we use everything we have to glorify You.

6. Because of the strength You give us, the shield that You are to us, we have nothing to fear. Though the world seek to destroy us may we find refuge and strength in You. May we not fear anything that the world can throw at us. May we fear only You and You're righteous judgments.

7. You are a living God that is able to do as You have promised. You have told me that You will never leave nor forsake me. You have the power to destroy all evil and temporal things that would look to harm us. Why should we cling to these weak temporal things that we so often do when You can destroy them in an instant? May you destroy the evil and keep us safe.

8. Most of all save us Lord. Thank you for the salvation you freely offer us. The protection and strength that you give us is wonderful, but all the more may we rejoice in the salvation that you freely offer to us through Your Son. May you truly have your blessed hand upon those of us who love and cherish You. Praise be Your name, may you truly bless Your children.

Psalm 2

1. Lord, help us to remember that you are in control. Everything of the world goes against who you are. May we not get caught up in the lures of this world. We spend so much of our time devising our own plans and we neglect to include you in them. Help us to remember you in all our decisions, help us to seek your wisdom through your Word as you direct our steps.

2. The world seeks fame, fortune, and their own desires. The world seeks for power, they seek to take all glory away from God and heap it on themselves. Just as you were when you came to earth, the world mocks you and seeks to dethrone you.

3. May we do everything in our power to run from these evil powers. May we run from the sin that so easily entangles us. Lord keep us from harm and give us the strength and wisdom to come together as the Church and fight the spiritual battle you have called us to.

4. Lord you are so BIG, and I am so small. You look down from your throne on high and see those who crave unrighteousness, who live as if there is no God. And yet You, you sit in heaven and look down and laugh. You are all-powerful sovereign God, may we remember that none can usurp your throne. May we remember that you are above all, and we cannot even begin to fathom your power.

5. Your laughter in heaven will only remain for so long. There will come a day when your patience will run out and your wrath will consume those who did not obey you. Lord, help us to remember your wrath, may it cause us to fear and tremble. May we not forget you throughout the day, but remember we have been saved from that terrible wrath which will one day be poured out upon the unrighteous.

6. You do as you please. You place whoever you desire where you require them. You have appointed those whom you desire to overthrow the foolish wisdom of the world.

7. May our lips proclaim your majesty to the world. May our thoughts often drift to you. How blessed we are to be called your sons. To dwell in the family of the Most High God is a privilege we should never take for granted. You have allowed us to be born again. Because of the Sacrifice of Son of God, can we be called sons of God.

8. Lord may we always remember that you desire what is best for us. May we constantly be praising you and thanking you for all you have given to us. We have inherited so many temporary and permanent blessings because of what you have done for us. You own the whole world and desire to give us what is good, may we ask with confidence when we ask of you. May our prayers never sell your power short, or may we never ask selfishly.

9. Lord, you will one day return to destroy your enemies. Those who mock you and despise you, you will show them your power. May we shudder at the thought of your wrath and warn others of its swift destruction.

10. As those who have been given a new life and are saved by the grace of God may we be wise with our actions. May our testimony to the world be pleasing to you. May we constantly be on alert and never be satisfied with our current state, but rather pursue you and take heed of your impending wrath.

11. When we come before you to pray, or worship, or listen to your word may we pay You the respect and honor you deserve. May we never approach You with flippancy or indifference. May our joy be rooted in the fear we have for Your Name. May our worship to you be a sweet fragrance because you see our reverence and fear for Your Name.

12. May our thoughts be constantly focused on Christ. May we always remember the ultimate sacrifice He paid for us and never trample on His precious Name. The world opposes Him and mocks Him by the way we live, may we remember their ultimate destruction and be grateful and know the blessing we have as we can take refuge in the very God of this universe. We can confidently come before you and you will protect us from your wrath, for those who have loved Your Son.

Psalm 1

1. How much happier we are when we are to bless the Lord. You are honored in us Lord when we keep from the wicked. May you keep our steps from wandering into the sinful traps of this world. May you keep our hearts from those who would speak against you. May you keep our hearts pure from those who would mock you and mock those you have created.

2. How much happier we are when we recognize your Words and the life they bring. May our hearts not only desire to read your word, but that all of our being would delight in knowing it. May we recognize the special treasure we have in your Word. May we truly recognize Scripture as you speaking to us, and may we think about it as often as we can. May we not just think about it, but may we live in it. May what we read in your Word delight our hearts and change our living.

3. May our delight in your Word grow strong roots in our heart and anchor us to your truth. May we find refreshment and life sustaining nutrients in all that you reveal to us, and may we never stray to seek refreshment elsewhere for it will surely be poison to our souls. May your Word produce in us the necessary fruits. May we anxiously await for the next good deed we can do for you, in your name. May we prosper and our lives be blessed as long as we look to you for our sustenance. And may we remember you in all that we do.

4-5. May our lives be the opposite of the wicked. May we be a contrast to those who are against you. May we constantly recognize the benefits we have in you. May we not compare ourselves to the temporary benefits it may seem the wicked get for you tell us that they will one day be blown away like chaff. They have no roots in you, and in the day you return they will try to reconcile with you, and have no foundation to stand on. May we remember the blessing we have in being rooted in you and your truth. When you judge us, if our hearts are not rooted in the foundation of Christ we will be cast away and never be able to dwell among you and your people. May our hearts long to be with you and be with those who desire you.

6. Lord, know my heart, know me, continue to reveal to me the benefits of your word, and the blessings of being your child. Direct my paths and help me to remember the way of destruction that I might keep far from it.
